Posted prices for the everyday work
Most of what keeps a car on the road in Ottawa, ON has a set price here, before tax. A computer scan and diagnosis is $50, and it is the starting point for a check engine light or a car that is running badly. A regular oil change is $55, and synthetic starts at $100.
Tires are priced by the job. A swap with your tires already on rims is $50, mounting tires onto rims is $100, and a flat tire repair is $20 when the tire can be saved. See tire change and swap for timing the fall and spring changeover.
Rustproofing is a no drip undercoating at $140 for a car and $180 for an SUV. The tune up and yearly maintenance visit is $150, and the Ontario safety inspection for a DriveON Safety Standards Certificate is $240.
Repairs quoted for your car
Some jobs cannot be priced fairly before the car is in front of someone. Brake repair depends on the pads, rotors and calipers your car takes and the quality you choose. Batteries vary by make, model and battery grade. The same goes for A/C repair, no heat, exhaust work, suspension, engine repair and a car that won’t start. Those are looked at first and quoted before any work starts.

Brakes, batteries, A/C, heat, exhaust, suspension and engine work depend on the make, model and year of the car and on the quality of the parts chosen. Those are quoted for your car once it has been looked at.

Yes. The online booking page has an Other option. Pick it, describe the problem and attach up to four photos.
